Microwave Resonant Sensing

How can multi-resonant electromagnetic responses improve material and state estimation beyond a single resonant-frequency shift?

Research question

How can multi-resonant electromagnetic responses improve material and state estimation beyond a single resonant-frequency shift?

From electromagnetic mechanism to evidence.

The project treats a resonator as a multi-feature sensing system rather than a one-number sensor. Resonant frequency, Q-factor, bandwidth, phase behaviour, and selected spectral features can be evaluated together, while calibration, fixture effects, fabrication tolerance, and repeatability are carried into interpretation.
