Material Characterization

How should waveguide, resonator, and free-space methods be selected and validated for practical dielectric-property extraction?

Research question

How should waveguide, resonator, and free-space methods be selected and validated for practical dielectric-property extraction?

From electromagnetic mechanism to evidence.

Material characterization is treated as an inverse electromagnetic problem whose quality depends on sample geometry, frequency range, calibration, fixture or antenna configuration, dynamic range, and the inversion model. The project develops a method-selection workflow rather than assuming one technique is universally appropriate.
