How robust are antennas, interconnects, and resonant structures when bending, twisting, and combined deformations alter their electromagnetic geometry?

Research question

How robust are antennas, interconnects, and resonant structures when bending, twisting, and combined deformations alter their electromagnetic geometry?

From electromagnetic mechanism to evidence.

Flexible RF devices operate on geometries that are not fixed. This research line develops numerical tools for creating complex deformed geometries and uses them to quantify the effect of deformation on electromagnetic performance. The emphasis is on realistic geometric perturbations and on separating geometry-generation error from true EM response change.
